SSG was established in 2001 by the people of SSTPS (NTPC) Shaktinagar through their unyielding support and cooperation. SSG is completely registered organization under U.P. Govt. coaching registration act. SSG has been an exclusive institute for Indian Institutes of Technology - Joint Entrance Examination (IIT - JEE) and other engineering entrance examinations like AIEEE / NIT etc. From the year (2005-2006) PMT division and separate AIEEE division are running successfully.

All class - rooms have been made completely air - conditioned.

SSG was an idea in the mind of three teachers, Mr. A.D. Tiwari, Mr. Sudeep Tiwari and T. Singh in the year 1996 when they were working in DAV - ACC Public School, Kymore, Katni (M.P.). The idea could have been converted into a reality in 2001.
